She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Armstrong and Bessie Armstrong; her husband Gerald Simmerman; and her grandson Frank Lanzo. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lanzo (Phillip), Wayne Simmerman (Terri) and David Simmerman (Michele); her grandchildren, Phillip Lanzo, Nick Lanzo, Justine Dumont, Steven Simmerman, Holly Simmerman, Randy Leatherwood, Rachel Szymanski, Kaitlyn Cunningham and Cory Simmerman; and her great grandchildren, Lila, Nate, Livi, Claire, Gabbi and David.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reichlin-Roberts-Bollinger Funeral Home (327 Cleveland St, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
