He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alva, Millie, Reda and Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Love; his children, Kim Belcher (Edward) and Ned R. Fertig II (Michelle); his grandchildren, Brian, Lindsey, Kevin (Kari) and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Rylie, Sean, Jayden, Alexa, Cameron, Caleb and Aubri.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Christian School 11400 LaGrange Rd., Elyria, OH. 44035.
