He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Crook and Glennora Crook; and his brothers, Lee and Utron Crook. He is survived by: his children, Tosha Smith, Michael Crook, Jr., Anneka Crook and Ashley Crook; and his siblings, Vanessa Muschitz, Garnetta Palmer and Derwood Crook. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
