He was predeceased by: his son Justin Daniel Hughes; his grandchildren, Silas, Justin and Sofia Hughes; and his father George Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Velnita Lynn Hughes (Polly); his children, Jason M. Hughes (Danielle) of New Washington, Ohio and Ginny L. Neiding (Edward II) of Stow, Ohio; his grandchildren, Luke Joseph Hughes, Allie Mae Lynn Hughes, HollyAnna Michelle Neiding, Margaret Eloise Neiding and Benjamin Joseph Silas Neiding; his mother Bonnie Row (Hamilton); and his siblings, Michael Norris (Becky) and Brenda Dunlap (Donnie).
