He was predeceased by: his wife Lisa Axford; his parents, Charles Axford and Lila Axford; and his brother John Axford (Lisa Axford). He is survived by: his sons, Mark Axford Jr. of Elyria, Jacob Axford (Brandy) of Elyria and Steve Huffman (Edith) of Olathe; his siblings, Clyde Axford of Vermilion, Charles Axford Jr. of Grafton, Larry Axford (Laura) of Shepherdsville, Gary Axford (Ginny) of Elyria, James Axford of Elyria, Russell Axford (Erica) of Spencer, Kathy Setliff (Jerry) of Prospect Hill, Lila Gray (Michael) of Greenwich, Helen Thompson (Robert) of Medina, Sally Thacker (David) of Elyria and Joyce Axford (Bennie) of Grafton; and his grandchildren, Matthew Axford and Kylee Huffman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
