She was predeceased by: her father Arlie Milam; her husband John Meffley; her son Benjamin Lewis Stanley; and her siblings, Joyce Faye Beasley, Viola Katherine Barry, Arlie Jr. Milam, Marvin Eugene Milam and Billy Joe Milam.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Ann Pomeroy (Andrew) of San Antonio, Texas and Patricia Kay Gonzalez (James) of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter Barbara Steiner (Daniel) of Bluffton; and her stepchildren, Pamela Preuter (Larry) of Surprise, Johanna Chaffins (Larry) of Palestine, Debra Weygandt (Steve) of Grove City and Bruce Meffley (Diane) of Pandora. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
