He is survived by: his nephew William Pierson; his children, Kathryn Orantek (Timothy) of Elyria, Jennifer Reed (Ralph) of Avon and Gregory (Karen) of Elyria; his stepchild Melissa Renner (Christopher) of Ryan Spickler; his grandchildren, Brian, MacKenzie, Alexander Hull, Jesse, Quinten Orantek and Thomas Reed; and his sister Patricia Thiel (George).
