He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Harper; his parents, Lester Harper and Ocie Harper; his grandson Kenneth E. Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Alex Hamilton and Grayson Hules; and his sister Dorothea Harper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Harper of Elyria, Bonnie Hamilton (Richard) of Elyria, Peggy Harper of Elyria, Janice Smith of Elyria and Shirley Provoznik (Daniel) of Olympia, WA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hamilton, Amber Whitsell, Melinda Veres (Andrew), Kaleigh Smith, Lindsey Smith, Jesse Hamilton, Christopher Provoznik and Daniel "Scotty" Provoznik; and his siblings, Faye Shrum (Mike), Brenda Berry (Jim), Ernest Harper (MaryLou), Wilbert Harper (Debbie), Everett Harper (Audrey), Dwight Harper, Delmas Harper and John Harper. He is also survived by 11 great granddaughters; 9 great grandsons.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
