She was predeceased by: her husband Fred J. Shepherd Sr.; her son Mike Shepherd; her parents, Jack C. Brown and Jeanne E. Brown; her nephews, Jack E. Brown and David R. Brown; and her brother-in-law Bruce Steiner.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Shepherd (Jackie) of Elyria, Fred J. Shepherd Jr. of Elyria, Elaine Brown (Jim) of Oberlin, Laurie Marciniak (Greg) of Lorain and Teri Thomas (Tony) of Elyria; and her siblings, John E. "Jack" Brown (Joan) of Lorain, Linda Schweinberg (Paul) of Amherst, Laurie Steiner of South Amherst and Jeanne Haid (Dan) of Lorain. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
