He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Gene" Kimbro Sr. and Willa B.; and his grandparents, Jesse L., Lucille Kimbro, Montina Finch and Frank Finch, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Kisha Kimbro of Elyria; his children, Antuan Kimbro (Mindy), Jonathan Kimbro, Paris Kimbro, Christopher Kimbro, Nickolas Shores, John Kimbro Jr., Reggan Kimbro and Johnnie Kimbro of Lorain County; and his siblings, Montina Kimbro of Elyria, Wanda West (John Tericko) of Lake County, Cheryl Anderson of Oberlin, Harold Kimbro Jr. (Darla) of Lorain, Charles "Wade" Kimbro of Elyria, Juan Kimbro of Elyria, Rodney Gibson of Elyria, Tyrone Brannon of Elyria and Jason Brannon of Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
