He is survived by: his wife Margaret Halfhill; his children, John Halfhill (Tammy), Tim Halfhill and Margaret Schramm (Dean); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Timothy, Matthew, Jacob, Jessica, Lindsay, Christian and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Ceilo and Ashling. He is also survived by friends and family, but most especially his wife.
