It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Charles Derringer of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lynn; his children, Kirsten Wynne Standen (David) of Covington, Georgia, Zachary Tate (Sophie) of Crawfordville, Florida and Joel "Brock" (Jennifer) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jacob Cullen, Tatum Lynnly of Dayton, Ohio, Nicholas Isaac Standen and Christopher Paul Standen of Covington, Georgia; and his brother Daniel Carl (Jeannetta) of Elyria, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At this time, the family will not be planning hours of visitation or services due to COVID.
