He was predeceased by: his parents, John Q. and Julia; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Juanita Ruth Adams-Phillips, Laura Elizabeth Adams-Mate, Mary Ann Harris, Julia Marie Stroupe, Dorothy Mae Adams, John Quincy Adams and Edward Lawrence Adams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Belinda Laubenthal (Andy), Betty Jo Hockney (Dave), Sherry Richardson and Priscilla Barnett; and his brother Tim Ray (Sally). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
