He was predeceased by: his birth mother Shirley Jones; his adoptive parents, Idella Page and Henry Page; and his sister Dianne Cannon. He is survived by: his siblings, Danielle Williams of Dayton, Beverly Page of Smyrna, Tennessee, Demetrius Jones (Kate) of Wellington and Troy Page (Rolanda) of Galena, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“May God bring eternal peace to Joaquin and his family. It's still hard for me to believe that he is no longer with us. I worked at the Murray Ridge workshop with him and my Mother and I loved babysitting his dog Chase. This is still unbelievable to me, it's made me realize that life is way too fragile. So live it while you can.”
