Jimmie Ransom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2020, at the age of 91, Jimmie Ransom of Elyria, Ohio, born in Demopolis, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his son Jimmie Jr. Ransom (Linda); his parents, Mary Ella and Charston Ransom; and his brother John Henry Sr. Ransom (Sandra).
He is survived by: his children, Edward Ellis Ransom (Constance), Marilyn Cannaday (Lee) and Keithlyn Ransom (Coral); and his siblings, Chuck Ransom, Link Ransom (Bobbie) and Ross Ransom (Loretta). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private graveside service was held for immediate family members conducted by Pastor Ray Robinson Jr. Arrangements were provided by Brown-Robinson Funeral Home of Lorain, Ohio.
