It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Oates (Elyria, Ohio), who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tarellee Oates of Elyria, Jodi Lynn Macdonald of Grafton and James Oates, Jr. of Elyria; his sister Joyce Byers of Elryia; his wife Joyce Oates; and his son Baby Billy. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
