He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harry and Paulette Marie Smith, Jr. (Roth); his grandparents, Theodore, Louise Roth, Joseph and Shirley Smith, Sr. (Ferdinandsen); his niece Shelby Rodriguez; and his cousin Greg Browne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Rodriguez (Alberto) of Elyria, Kevin Smith (Rachel) of Tiffin, Eric Smith (Alicia) of Toledo and David Smith (Jacklyn) of Berlin Heights, OH; his niece Carissa Graham of South Carolina; his nephew Logan Wright of Elyria; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kennedy, Lily, Jackson and Joseph. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as, several other family members.
