He was predeceased by: his parents, James Perry and Bernita Perry; and his son Joseph John Perry Sr.. He is survived by: his son James Jonathan Perry III (Mandy); his grandchildren, Joseph John Jr., Joshua Jarett and Jillian Janelle Perry; and his brothers, Robert Perry (Denise) and Thomas Perry.
