It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Looney of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his parents, Morrow Looney and Irene Looney; and his siblings, Bill Looney and Loretta Landin.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Shelly Mitchell (Ron) of Elyria; his children, Tony Looney (Eileen) of Amherst, Jeff Looney of Lorain and Vicki Turner (Tony) of Lorain; his sister Kathy Downey of Dublin, OH.; and his sister-in-law Catherine Looney of Round Rock, TX.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks, Memorial Visitation Friday, February 26, 2021 from 11-12pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Service at 12pm will be private but will be live streamed the on funeral home Facebook page.
