He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Dukes; his parents, Charlie Dukes and Mildred Dukes; his siblings, Charles Dukes, Calvin Dukes and Charlie Mae Dukes; his great-nephew Stephen Dukes (Antonio); and his goddaughter Sycou Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Dukes of Lorain; his grandchildren, Kevant Dukes, Kevin Dukes Jr., Kamron Dukes of Elyria, Keion of Lorain, Kalvin Dukes of Lorain and Bria Carter of Elyria; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Madison of Elyria, Janie Dukes of Columbus, Gene Madison (Marsh) of Elyria, Robert Madison (Joann) of Elyria, Tyrone Madison (Kevin) of Cleveland and Bruce Evans of Lorain; his cousin Charles Willis of Cleveland; and his nieces, Nachelle Dukes (Nikki) of Elyria and Angie Dukes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins.
