She was predeceased by: her son Randall William Mathes; her parents, Harry Bowers and Luella Mae Bowers; and her siblings, Pete Bowers, Esther J. Kegley, Harry Bowers Jr., Ruth Bowers and Hansel Bowers.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Lopez of Elyria, L. Ruth Vittori (Len) of Elyria and Denny Mathes (Melissa) of Lodi; her grandchildren, Tobias, Adrienne Mathes, Danny, Michael, Cathy Chambers, Andrew Vittori, Elizabeth Handley (Nick), Brad (Stephanie), Bryan (Nora) and Dennis Mathes (Caleigh); and her brother Huey Bowers (Scarlett). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
