He was predeceased by: his parents, William Porter and Addie Maccombs (Hankerson); his wife Virginia Anne Maccombs (Mroski); his daughter Tamie Jo Maccombs; his brothers, Donald Maccombs, Delbert, Paul and Wilford; his sister-in-law Phyllis Maccombs; and his sisters, Opal McFarland, Alice Bachtel and Velma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Ann Hartzel (Dennis) of Michigan and Michele; his grandchildren, Melissa Danielle Hartzel of North Carolina, Stephanie Marie Demorest (Jonathan) of Florida, Nicholas Blair Hartzel of Michigan and Rachel Ann Lohr (Trevin) of Florida; his great grandchildren, Zoe Jane Demorest, Mackenzie Lynne Eans, Jonathan Dale Demorest Jr., Hannah JoLynn Demorest and Penelope Mae Lohr; and his siblings, Eldon, Melvin Maccombs (Jeri) of Nelsonville and Gladys Dicken of Logan.
The funeral chapel will follow Ohio's newly-revised Covid-19 protocol.
