It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Galen L. Dunlap (Elyria, Ohio), who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Galen L. Dunlap to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Stanley Dunlap and Elizabeth; his wife Treva Louise Knapp of Wellington; his brothers, Gerald, Richard and Donald; his son Robert Lawrence Dunlap; and his grandson Galen Lewis Dunlap III.

He is survived by: his grandson Galen "Lewis"; his great grandchild Mallory; and his children, Yolanda Rister (Dan), Galen Lewis Dunlap (Katherine), Judy Wiele, Linda Lewis and Patricia Justin (Richard). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews.

While he enjoyed his time away, he was happiest working as president of Dunlap's Garage and worked nearly everyday until COVID-19 prevented it.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the American Diabetes Association.
