It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank S. Papay of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Papay and Mary Papay (Stumphauzer); his son Lawrence Papay (Virginia); his brothers, Bill and Ernie; and his pets, Buddy and Buttons.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Linda Seman (Bob), Judy Otten (Tim), Frank A. Papay MD (Dianne Morgan), James G. Papay and Anthony Papay (Kelly); his grandchildren, Jessica Cooperrider MD, Kurt Cooperrider (Brittany), Olivia Ciotti (Jon), Francis (Frankie), Anthony, Roman, Maximus and Brody; his great grandchildren, Hayes Cooperrider and Oliver Ciotti; and his siblings, Gilbert Papay, Sylvania and Maryann Stilwell (Bob) of Oberlin.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Frank's memory may be sent to St. Agnes Church. .
