She is survived by: her parents, Jeremy Benson and Wendy Benson; her siblings, Kenneth, Tara Smith, Marie Smith (Brandon), Claire Nicole Newman (Michael) and Xavier Benson (Veronica); her grandparents, Paul and Beverly Hoover; and her nieces, Elizabeth and Arabella.
Emily loved to knit, often donating hats and scarves she made for anyone who needed them.
