Edward Zavell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Zavell of Elyria, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Zavell and Pincus Zavell; his siblings, Charles Zavell, Rae Zavell and Alice Wylen; and his granddaughter Julie Steedman.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Spike (Sally); his children, Linda Steedman (James) and Paul Zavell (Diane); his grandchildren, Lisa Steedman (Anthony Jordan), Jennifer Cuevas (Joe), Ryan Zavell and Adam Zavell; and his great grandchildren, Alec Cuevas and Bryce Cuevas.
In March, he lost his beloved wife, who had been an incredible caretaker to him. And with the restrictions brought on by the pandemic, he accepted the pain and loss of human contact from his loved ones.
