She was predeceased by: her husband Roy J. Clendenan; and her parents, Doris McKernan and Thomas McKernan. She is survived by: her son Thomas Wheeler (Kasia); her granddaughters, Zofia, Magdalena and Halina; and her siblings, David McKernan (Nancy), Scott McKernan (Janet), Melanie Higgins, Veronica Brooke (Mark), Gerianne Kody, Julie Katona (Michael) and Lucy McKernan (Charles). She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nephews.
