He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Grove and Ethel Mae Grove; his wife A. Jean Stumpf of Somerset County; and his siblings, Clarence L. Grove, Helen M. Critchfield (Claude), Franklin W. Grove (Naomi), Ruth A. Weimer (Christopher), George W. Grove (Shirley), Herbert R. Grove (Patsy) and Ruby Stumpf (Donald).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn E. Palmer of Elyria, OH, Vicki G. Harris (James) of Conroe, TX and Diane Starett (Roger) of Knoxville, TN.; his grandchildren, Ashley Palmer (Scott Lee) of Kensington, MD, Brett Palmer (Dawn Nicole), Lindsey Gibb (Patrick Works), Eric Gibb (Alley), Jessica Mears (Brian), Michael Harris (Peleghia) of Athens, Greece, Rachel Harris (Christo) of Samos, Greece, Christina Harris of Athens, Greece, Christi Aysh (Robert), Daniel Starett, Marissa Starett and Josh Starett (Amanda); and his siblings, Doreen T. Wilbur (Richard) of Lexington, KY and Richard G. Grove (Sally) of Big Springs, TX.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Resthaven Memorial Park.
