He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Ike" Ellis and Helen Ellis; and his wife Mary Lou. He is survived by: his children, Debra Zernis (Paul) of Pataskala, OH, Nancy Givens (Robert) of Pueblo, CO, Audrey Bobek (Tom) of Elyria and Michael Ellis (Candace) of Elyria; his grandchildren, Missi Langkamp (Darren), Kym Emrick (Scott), Chad Zernis, Eric Penfound, Amy Palmer (Jeff), Krista Werling (Chris), Kayla Teague (Clay), Kelsey Shanks (Mike), Elizabeth Ellis (Colton Hess), Hannah Ellis (Tyler Dooley) and Levi Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Luke (Maggi), Jake (Jordyn), Mark Langkamp, Chris Emrick, Garin Penfound, Madison Palmer, Nathan, Brooklyn, Zachary Werling, Jackson, Emmett Shanks, Hudson and Kinsley Teague. He is also survived by three sisters; two brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
