She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Jimmy Stanford; her parents, Anderson Sr. Woods and Mary Woods; her adoptive parents, Floyd Rowe and Evangelist Naomi Rowe; and her siblings, Anderson Woods Jr., Willa Jones and Katie Woods.

She is survived by: her children, James Woods, Thomas Smalley and Alicia Smalley; and her siblings, James Woods, Thomas Woods, Ethel Jones and Mary of Washington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
