He was predeceased by: his wife Anna M. Meredith; his parents, Edward Meredith and Myrtle Meredith; and his brother Maurice "Bud" Meredith. He is survived by: his sons, David A. Meredith (Debra) of Elyria and Douglas E. Meredith of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Bradley Meredith, Tayler Meredith (Matthew Gump), Jared Meredith, Stephen Baytos V and Sydney Baytos; and his siblings, Florence Garner, Dan Meredith (Linda) and Ron Meredith.
