He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzel Strickling and Bonnie Strickling; and his daughter Ashley Jewell Perez. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Strickling; his children, Jeriod Jewell, Carson Strickling (Brigid), Michael Kolonick, Cole Strickling, Dr Valerie Erdman (Nicholas), Carissa Stringfield (Damian) and Courtney Kolonick (Nicholas Weppelman); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Alyssa, Savannah, Cailynn, Kalley, Nicholas, Addison, Emerson, Rylee, Avery, Harlow, Oliver, Eleanor and Harrison; his brother James Strickling (Rosemary); his nephews, Matthew Strickling and Steve Strickling (Heather); and his mother-in-law Edna Burress.
