He was predeceased by: his son James Harrison; his parents, Edward Kistner and Mabel Kistner; and his siblings, Betty Kistner and Edward Kistner Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Kay; his children, Terri Simmerman, Jo Ellen Blankenship, Carrie Keener, Mike Sherrill, Larry Harrison Jr., Duane Sherrill and Mark Sherrill; and his sister Mary Kistner. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Fido's Companion Rescue.
