He is survived by: his mother Mary; his sons, David (Kristina) and Alex; his sisters, Wanda Casto (Ed), Susan Rankin II (John) and Tammy Gregory (Scott); and his grandsons, Alex Jr. and Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
