He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Henderson and Hattie Henderson (Metcalf); his wife Vera V. Henderson (Harris); his siblings, Daisy Lee Brown, Mildred Lampkin, Frankie Mae Brown, James Metcalf, Wallace Henderson, Harold H. D. Henderson and Walter Henderson; and his son Rino Hanshaw.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Woolbright (Robert) of Elyria, OH and Curtis Mitchell Henderson Jr. (Twania) of Lorain, OH; his stepdaughter Doris Harris of Elyria, OH; his daughter Leanna Bossman (Robert) of Cleveland, OH; his sister Deetta Henderson of Oberlin, OH; his sister-in-law Bertha Henderson of Elyria, OH; and his close friend William Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
