He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Pinter and Grace Pinter (Schilling); and his grandfather Theodore "Pete" Schilling (Betty Schilling). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Atkinson of North Ridgeville; his daughters, Danielle and Dana; his friends, Teresa Smith (Schneider) of North Ridgeville and Air Freight Forwarding; his brothers, Peter Pinter (Patricia) of Boca Raton, Florida and Wade Pinter (Kitty) of Elyria; his niece Camille; his nephew Charlie; his sister Rachel Pappas (John) of Mason; his nephews, Johnathan and Blake; his niece Andrea Pappas; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Rogers and Steve Atkinson; and his niece Lisa Atkinson.

Due to Covid, a private family graveside memorial was held at Butternut Ridge cemetery.
