With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie J Burchett of Elyria, Ohio, born in Duck, West Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charlie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charlie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Carol (Earl Gregorich), Brenda (Rob Janik) and Pam (Chris Collier); his grandchildren, Brent, Sarah, McKinley, Avery, Paige and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Connor and Bennet.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home (327 Cleveland St, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
