With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Ransom III (Elyria, Ohio), who passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lula M. Ransom; his children, Amanda Ransom, Qiana Newton-Hampton and Derek Ransom; his sister Mary E. Skinner; and his grandparents, Charles, Mary Ransom Sr., Oscar and Mattie Tolbert.
He is survived by: his father Charles Ransom Jr. of Charlotte, NC; his children, Neil Hamilton (NY), Brandon Pilson of Elyria, OH, Tony Ransom, Ryan Ransom of Lorain, OH, Leslie Jones, Charlene (Carl), Taylor of Elyria, OH, Shawntobia Morgan of Crestview, FL, Annette Ransom of Lorain, OH and Raquel Ransom of Brandon, FL; and his siblings, Denise Ransom-Morris of Raleigh, NC, Rhonda Ransom, Dennis Ransom, Eddie (Lauri) and Johnson of Elyria, OH. He is also survived by Thirty-eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Call Out Church of the Almighty God (7809 W River Rd S, Elyria, OH 44035). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
