She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Smith and Fred Smith; and her sister Diane Borthwick (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter Julie Harmon (Tim); her granddaughters, Kate Petersen (Dane) and Mary Lynn Knotek (Rich); her great grandchildren, Cole Petersen and Taylor Burke (Ben); her great great grandchild Brynnleigh Burke; her daughters, Amy DeLeeuw (Doug), Victoria DehMalo and Pamela Kline; and her cousin Jane Hutson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Ave. Christian Church (301 Washington Ave, Elyria, OH 44035).
