It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Basil Arnold Whitesel of Elyria, Ohio, born in Normantown, West Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Whitesel; his parents, Leonard Whitesel and Viola Whitesel; and his siblings, Mavie Alltop, Nelda Stout, Carolyn Reedy, Francis, Gale and Adren Whitesel.
He is survived by: his children, Roberta Whitesel of Grafton, Lisa Lowther (Jack) of Amherst, Doug Whitesel (Mary) and John Whitesel (Denise) of New London; his grandchildren, Greg, Thomas, Ian, Maggie, Amanda, Michaela and Nate; his great grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Mila and Kirk; and his sister June Reaser of LaGrange.
Because of the Covid 19 pandemic services will be private.
