Hovatter in Elyria, Ohio, born in Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn D.; her parents, Edward Upton and Ottis Upton; and her siblings, Lloyd William Upton, Julia Justine Upton Jones and Ellen Jean Upton O'Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Hovatter (Linda Cooper) of Elyria, Larry (Anne) of Grafton, Eric (Donna) of Elyria and Alan Hovatter of Grafton; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Hovatter (Andrew Arndt), Jessica Whorton, Samantha Gatzemeyer (Kellan), Christina Hovatter (Logan Grove), Rebecca Hovatter, Lisa Chourabi (Hatem), Heather Hyer and Caitlin Hyer; and her great grandchildren, Bentley, Barrett, Briar, Lucas, Ethan, Kinsleigh, Alexa, Malia, Lily, Lena, Hayla and Hidaya.
