He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. and Pearl Bessey Jr. (Boyce); his siblings, Robert III, Raymond, William, Pearl Poynter and George; and his brother-in-law John Bene.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Biro); his children, Amy Hostetler (Daniel), Lee Anne Durdak (David), Terrie Baldwin (James), Albert Jr. (Carolyn), Dolores Bruno (Harry) and Charles (Alison); his grandchildren, Emelia Brown (Ben), Michael Durdak, Allison Jevnikar (John), Samuel Baldwin, Kyra Handley (Mark), Madalyn, Julia Bessey, Amanda, Alexis Bruno, Charles and Max Bessey; his great grandchildren, Izabelle and Evelyn Brown; his sisters, Lorain Bene, Milly Howard (Mitch) and Marcy Surber (Mike); and his sister-in-law Ruth Bessey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
