He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel L. Preston, Sr. and Regina Preston (Boedeker). He is survived by: his son Samuel; his wife Janet Preston (Riefenstahl); his daughter Jennifer Schibley (Eric) of Elyria; his siblings, Robert Preston (Virginia), Natalie Rilling (Chris) and Albert Preston (Tina); and his grandchildren, Brendan, Kiera and Marlaina Schibley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or the Ottawa County Community Foundation in Memory of Samuel Preston.
