It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Hayes of Elmore, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Hayes and Margaret M. Hayes (McGaharan); his wife Sheri (Cuevas); his brother Jerry Stack; and his pet Jadie Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Henry (Al) of Oak Harbor, OH, Ryan Hayes (Anna Bahnsen) of Oak Harbor, OH, Jamie Lowe (Kris) of Elmore, OH, Alicia Barnhouse of Woodville, OH and Kaysie Barnhouse of Elmore, OH; his grandchildren, Justin, Ayron Henry, Logan Merryfield (Ciara Harris), Kylie Lowe, Alyssa Goetz, Carson Pokrzywa, Jordyn Lowe, Britton Lowe, Gavin Lowe, Landon Browning, Kinsley Pokrzywa and Cohen Pokrzywa; his great grandchild Harleigh Henry (Merryfield); his siblings, Renata Wielandt (Leon) of Belgium, Germany, Kenneth Hayes of Oregon, OH, Linda Dickman of Toledo and Beverly Kraemer; and his pet Maggie Mae.
