He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Haar and Eva Haar (Stabal); his sons, Ronald Haar and John "Hub" Haar; and his siblings, Richard Haar, Lawrence Haar, Katherine Chieky and Shirley Haar.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Murray; his son Jeff Haar; and his grandchildren, Ron, Jr., Kim, Jackie, Levi, Ashley, Cody and Hunter. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
