Geraldine A. Vidman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine A. Vidman of Ellsworth, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Geraldine A. is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Geraldine A.'s spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Swader and Mary Swader (McLandrich). She is survived by: her husband Stephen M. Vidman; her children, Mary Ann Bacon (Keith) of Spartanburg, SC, Susan Vidman of Durham, NC, Mikki Hawkins (John) of Raleigh, NC, Stephen Vidman (Aixsa) of McDonald, OH and Betsy Pallo (Johnny Grim) of Boardman, OH.; and her brother Richard Swader (Elizabeth) of Beaufort, SC.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lane Canfield Chapel (65 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406).
As an early stroke survivor, the family requests donations be made to Ohio State University (https://giveto.osu.edu) for stroke research in lieu of flowers.
