Samuel Steffes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Steffes of Edon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Steffes and Frances Steffes (Stoy); his wife Barbara A. Vince; and his siblings, Joseph, Richard, Clarence and Loretta Andres.
He is survived by: his children, James Steffes of Westerville, Ohio and Rachel Kaylor; his granddaughters, Emily Kaylor, Hannah Brown (Heath), Allison and Ashley Kaylor; his siblings, Agnes Stoker, Barbara Shankster (Joseph), Nancy Risedorph (Ron), Raymond Steffes (Barbara), John Steffes and George Steffes (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Dino Vince (Barbara), Thomas Casterline (Josephine) and Sally Steffes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the Walz Park Playground Project, care of the Village of Edon, Edon School District, or St. Joseph Church.
