He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie A. Mearse and Helen I. Mearse (Thompson); and his brothers, Jay Roger Thompson and Gene Charles Mearse. He is survived by: his children, Haley Rodriguez (Troy) of Edon, Adam Mearse of Edgerton, Eric Mearse (Chelsi) of Edon and Seth Mearse of Edon; and also Paul Mearse of Angola, Indiana.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
