He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gearhart and Doris Gearhart (Favourite); and his sister Carolyn Welch. He is survived by: his children, Raymond "John" Gearhart (Tracy) of Angola, Todd A. Gearhart (Angela) of Montpelier, Ohio and Christina A. Gearhart-German (Mike) of Bristol, Indiana; and his grandchildren, R. J., Megan and Taylor. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
