Janice L. Mielke Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice L. Mielke of Edon, Ohio, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson T. Payne and Helen Virginia Payne (Ingle); and her husband Wesley M. Mielke. She is survived by: her son Shawn Mielke (Crystal) of Edon, Ohio; her stepdaughter Angelique Mielke of Waterloo, Indiana; and her siblings, Jerry Payne (Mary Burrell) of St. Paris, Donald Payne (Cathy) of Mooresville, Indiana, Joyce Nelson (Mike) of Ft. Wayne, Sharon Crager (James) of Angola, Rita Alexander of Hamilton, Deborah Cleckner (Rick) of Angola and Carol German of Fairview, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Steuben County Humane Society.
